Blah, Blah, Blah

Well, tomorrow is the day, Miriam will officially have her first Birthday Party!!! I am sure she has no clue what that is even though I keep telling her. I have been cleaning like a mad man today to get ready. For any of you who know me well you know that I am a" neat freak" & that I have to have my house pretty much spotless when company is coming over. This is a very odd label for me to have since I run a daycare in my home, but believe it or not my house stays clean regardless. Any how I still have to dust & vacuum which I am saving to do tonight after I start the cake, so that the floor will still be clean & minimum dust will recollect on the furniture.
(I know I am anal retentive) that's ok since I am willing to admit it, just ask Ryan if living with a "neat freak" is so bad, most people even the messy ones will admit that living in a mess is no fun.
Any how I am planning on taking lots of pictures & I will share them ASAP!

Judgment House/My cousin Bridget!!

Tonight is the night, I am so excited!!!! I have wanted to go to the judgment house for years, but never had anyone to go with or never new exactly when or where it was, I would only hear about it after the fact; when it was over. I am also excited because My cousin Bridget is on her way to my house from Alabama right now. She had been planning on coming for the weekend to be here for Miriam's B-day party, but then when I told her about the judgment house she wanted to come early so she could go. I am praying that she will be touched by the message because she is lost. My heart aches for all those who are lost, but Bridget (like Toby) hold a special place in my heart, and it aches for them to get right with God. Bridget is not just my cousin she is also my best friend. (along w/Toby) We use to be really close when we were young because we were the only two girls in the family close in age, then when she became a teenager she got mixed up with the wrong crowd, dropped out of school and started doing some very, very hard & deadly drugs. Finally when she was 19 she called us for help. She moved to Tennessee, and we became close again. Then she moved away to Alabama with her Boyfriend & they had a baby (Emily) Ever since Emily has been born, Bridget & I have become even closer, We talk to each other every day during the week & I went dwn there last month for Emily's 1 st B-day.
Since we have been talking so much she has begun to ask me questions about the Bible & seems to be interested in hearing about it. She will watch the news & then call me the next day to tell me what she saw and say "isn't that a end times sign?") I know God is working in her life and I am grateful, I just hope she will give her heart to Him before it is too late. Please pray for her, and also me that I may be a light to her while she is here this week.

Birhtday Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miriam will be having her first Birthday party on Saturday, Her birthday isn't until November 1st, but that is on a week day so we had to schedule it early. We only invited family this time; we thought with this being her first party that we didn't want to scare her with a lot of faces & commotion. Anyhow I hope she loves it, it will be the first of many for her!!!!!!

Lawyer

I am going to take the paper work to Miriam's lawyer today, I am so glad that the adoption is almost complete. Hopefuly before the new year Miriam will officially be
Miriam Millicent-Richa Gagovski. That name is longer than she is Haha! Anyhow you guys pray for us that everything will continue to move along smoothly. God Bless!!

Thought I was gonna get to post something intersting today, but I have to go make some phone call to get the ball rolling to finally finalize our adoption of Miriam. I am a little irritated with the social worker on this because she waited until just yesterday to tell me I needed to hire a Lawyer to help with the finalization! AHHHHH!
Anyhow you guys keep us in prayer that we can take care of this before the new year, so that Miriam can finally have a last name!

Can cold water clean dishes???

This is for all the germ conscious folks that worry about using cold water to clean dishes.


John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia.
After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather
prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film
like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, "Are
these plates clean?"

His grandfather replied, "They're as clean as cold water can get them. Just
you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!"

For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the
plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like
dried egg and asked, "Are you sure these plates are clean?"

Without looking up the old man said, "I told you before, Sonny, those dishes
are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want
to hear another word about it!"

Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was
leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass.
John yelled and said, "Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car".

Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on
TV, the old man shouted ...

Weather

Well, it has been almost 6 days since we have seen the sun shine! AAAAHHHHH!!!!! I am starting to get major cabin fever, I think I will try to take the kids out to play this morning as long as it is not too wet out. The weather people claim that we will be seeing some sun by the middle of the afternoon, and then for the rest of the week with highs in the high 70's / low 80's that will be nice. Anyway I think may be the reason I miss the sun so much is because it is like the light of God, When it is shining every thing seems so beautiful & cheerful, but when it is absent everything seems dreary & sad. I prefer to be in Gods light!

Anniversary

8 years ago today, Ryan & I got married! It was not a big wedding, we got dressed up in formal clothes & went to the Murfreesboro court house, The ceremony was performed in an office by the justice of the peace. We were suppose to have a big Church wedding the year before, but that is a long sad story that we wont go in to today. Ryan & I were high school sweethearts, we began dating our sophomore year when we were 16 & then we got married when we were 20. I pretty much always knew from about a year into us dating that I was going to marry Ryan, now there were a few times when we would break up or something would happen that I would be determined to not get back with him, but as you can see that never worked!
You just cant control who you fall in live with! Anyhow it hasn't been a perfect marriage.
(what marriage is) We have had our ups & downs, but I believe God put us together for a reason, and "What God has brought together let no man tear apart". I love my Eeorye very much & I hope we have many more wonderful years together!!!!!

Dreary Day

I don't care for days like this, when the sun doesn't shine. It always reminds me that the dreary days of winter are close. I am glad we are finally getting some fall temperatures, but I would prefer sunshine to go with it. Any way, hope that the dreariness of the day doesn't get anyone down,

Almost Christmas!! AHHHHHH

Can you believe it is almost Christmas? Only 11 more weeks, that's only about 3 months! AHHHH!
Anyhow I am not to overwhelmed by this because I am one of those people who already has all, (but 3 people) my Christmas stuff in Layaway! Yes that's right all of it!!!!!! I am not a procrastinator, I get it done ASAP. Not like some people I know who wait until the last minute & then run to fight with the crowds. Sorry, but that makes no sense to me, to each his own I suppose. Any how just wanted to remind every one how close we really are! Oh and in all the hussel & bussel of the holiday rush lets not forget the True meaning of Christmas! CHRIST!!!

HOHUM!

don't really know what to blog tonight, I went to a birthday party form my cousin's little girl who turned one! It was a long 2 1/2 hr dive one way. Anyhow Miriam & Corbin had a good time & so did the b-day girl.

Tomorrow is Sunday which I am happy & ill about, Happy cause it is Church day!!!! Ill because it is my last day off before Monday, AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lord has been after me to start singing again DON'T WANT TO!!!!!!!!!!!! I love to sing, just not in front of people..... Oh & get this the Lord is also after me to pull out my old piano books & my keyboard & start trying to remember how to play/read music. I stopped taking piano lessons at the age of 12, I would never have stopped taking them, but my piano teacher moved & there was no one else to teach it at the school I went to, anyhow its not like riding a bike it doesn't just come back to you so easy. I know stop making excuses & do it!! I am going to try to remember!! Pray for me!!!! Ok enough of that, gotta go. C-ya
