Miracle!

So guess what! It is truly a blessing from God! I am PREGNANT! Is that not amazing!?!
God has blessed Ryan & I with Miriam who I love more than my own life; & now after 9 yrs of marriage & being told that we probably wouldn't have any biological children We are pregnant! HA! Shows what God can do and I give him all the glory for it! So to any one out there who has been told it wont happen, or it cant happen, or it would take a miracle; Well, I am here to tell you God is still in the miracle business! So Keep your faith!

Hey guys sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but every time I would get on & check the blogs it seems like no one was posting anything new (except Joy) so I just was discoruraged from posting for a week! Anyway now I am back I am sure you guys have missed me; HA! Can you believe how fast this year is going? We are only three months away from Christmas! I am so sure you all wanted to know that! I am still waiting for work from that company, they finally gave me access to the schedule, but there is no work on it yet! AHHHHH! On to a different subject, Miriam's Birthday is one month away, I have a lot of stuff to do to prepare for that! She is suppose to inherit a bed from her great, great granny so I am going to have to move her into the back room which I have come to discover is larger than the one she is in. I want to get this done before her birthday because I have to get her new bedding for her new bed & I would like it to be a birthday present from us, she also wants the movie The Little Mermaid which Disney is releasing from their vault in October. Anyhow I do have a prayer request for you guys, for now it is unspoken, but it is very needful! ok so I gotta go for now! God Bless!

Down & Out!

Hey guys, Just wanted to ask you to keep Ryan & I in your prayers. We got some not so happy news about a job Ryan was hoping to be able to apply for yesterday and I am still waiting to get some work through that one place that I have been waiting on since July! Anyway I guess we are both feeling kinda "Down & Out".
We have been praying for a long time for me to be able to stay home & not work or only work part time, We were getting ready to do that when Shop at Home shut down. As you know that put an end to that. Now that we have gotten settled again we have been trying to figure a way to realize that dream again so far to no avail. This is really starting to take a toll on both of us. Anyhow just wanted to ask you guys for your prayers & I guess vent since I really don't have anyone to talk to, but children. Ok gotta go.

Fall is in the Air!!!!

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!!!!

I am still waiting to get started w/ my new job. This has been a long process & I hope it works out. I am soooo ready to move forward. The next step is to start taking calls, but it takes a few weeks from the time you finish all your test before they set you up to take calls. I took all my tests last week & I got a 100% on all of them! YEA!, but know I am back to waiting! At first I was a little nervous about telling the parents that I would be retiring from childcare, but now I can hardly wait to tell them. I am working on finding other in-home daycares for all of them & I have a few ideas, but nothing solid yet. I have been doing this off & on since I graduated high school & full time for six yrs. At one time I believed I always wanted to watch kids, but now that I have my own I am ready to turn all my attention to just her. I just feel like sometimes after a full day of working with kids, when they all go home I am so over it! I don't even want to play with Miriam or anything, because I have been with kids all day. Does that make any since?
Anyway, I have been praying for God to bless me with a job opportunity that would allow me the freedom that I need as well as staying home with Miriam. I think that this could be my chance, so hopefully it will work out! Just keep it in your prayers for me, God Bless!

13 YEARS TODAY!

Well, my story is quit a bit longer than Joy's so I am going to give you guys the abbreviated version. This is our Jr prom picture, it is one of the only ones of us together at that time in our life.

Ok so Ryan & I met in Biology class, on the first day of our sophomore yr. I was soooo not interested in him, he was not my type, he was "thugish" I was not in to that! , but he was persistant & finally on September 7th 1993 I gave in & we began to date! We of course have had our ups & downs most of them while we were dating. We broke up several times in the fist two years we were together, and we both dated other people, but never for long. We always wound up back together. Of course neither of us were living right, we moved in together in 1995. We lived together for two years before we got married, I wasn't even sure if I wanted to marry him anymore, but he had been going to Church with John & seemed to have changed so we got married on October 10, 1997. So as most of you know his "change" was sincere he got saved & began to live for God, shortly after I redeicated my life to the Lord. Everything hasn't been "peachy keen", but it has been good, we have had 11 1/2 years together just us; & 1 1/2 years with Miriam. God has truly blessed us and I believe He brought us together. So that is it in a nut shell, 13 years together & hopefully many more to come!
