Someone

I am feeling left out of life like a child who lives in fear.

Not knowing how to deal with it, trying to hide my tears.

Wanting love to comfort me. I get hurt and abused.

wanting someone to hear my cries, feeling pain and confused.

I need someone to comfort me when I awake from bad dreams.

Someone to share my life with, someone to sew the seems.

Facing life is hard to do needing someone near you.

Ignoring what they say to me, trying not to be blue.

Living with pain and fear, forget that's what they say.

I cant take it much longer, maybe one more day.

Oh, boy does that poem bring back memories, how depressing is that??

There was a time that I would have never shared my poems with anyone, but I have been re reading some of my older ones & I came across this one.

I thought I knew what it meant to me 14 years ago when I wrote it, but as I read it this time I see it for what it really was; even then. It was me searching to fill that void in my life that only God could fill. Many of you know I had a very rough childhood & even through all that God was trying to talk to me through my very own words. It just amazes me how God works in our lives & for how long he will continue to try to get through to us, until we finally break through ourselves to let him in.

I am happy to say that I no longer write poems like that one, and I know that is because of the Lord!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeew!

I feel like today has been a non stop green light, I haven't sat down for more that a few minutes and when I have sat down it has been to do some sort of task. I finally got a minute between yelling at kids, cooking dinner, spending time with Ryan before he goes to work, and half a million other things I have been doing today to sit down & blog! Wheeeeeeeeeeew!!!!! Anyhow my time here is almost over, I am fixin to have too go serve & eat dinner now.
Ok guys so if I don't get a chance to blog later tonight, I will try again tomorrow!

A Change!

Yes, I have changed my colors. It has been a while since I have had any new template colors so I just felt the need for a change, change can be a good thing.

I changed when I accepted Jesus into my life when I was 11 years old (good change)
I changed when I backslid from Jesus in high school (bad change)
and finally I changed when I rededicated my life to Jesus in 98' ( the best change of my life)

Anyhow just felt the need to share that with you guys, my day has been pretty normal, I got all my tax info (for my daycare) ready for filing, this took most of my entire break which is when the kids are napping. I swear as long as I have been doing this someone should hire me to run their books I would be a pro at it.

So we are fast approaching the year 2006, WOW that means I have been out of high school for 10 yrs. Yep that's right I am getting old. NOT! Your only as old as you feel!
I really don't feel like I have been out of school that long, but when I actually think back to it, it does seem like a long time ago. Time goes by too quickly when you get out of school.

Christmas Fun!!!!

Hey, guys dont really have much to say right now, just trying to update my blog a little! Hope every one had a good Christmas, I am glad to be back to the normal routine, even though I did enjoy my time off & I am not looking forward to taking down the tree & decorations! Hey guys, just sittin here while the kids are watching the wiggles, fun, fun. I have had a typical Friday morning so far, got up let the daycare kids in, got Miriam up & dressed, made breakfast, cleaned it up, wrote out some bills, & got the last few things put together for our court hearing on Monday to finalize Miriam's adoption. It is only 9:20 am so now I am bored.

Do you realize that there are only 2 more days until the play? Stranger than that there are only 9 more days before Christmas!!!!!!! Are you ready??

I have been nursing a scratchy throat for 24 hrs now, this is not a good thing with the play so close, so I am doing everything I can to keep my voice intact. Remember to pray for me!

Anyway I better get back to the kids, "They are like the ocean you cant turn your back on them for long". Blog ya later.

Diaper Explosion!

Ok this is really gross, but funny so I just have to share it with you guys.

As you know Miriam has been sick, well now that she is finally getting over her illness her diapers have been very messy (if you know what I mean) Any how yesterday morning when I went in her room to get her up I could smell it instantly, but when I turned on the light & saw it I almost died!!!
There was poop every where; on her pj's, in her hair, all over her bed (you get the picture)
I had to strip her put her in the shower & hose her down, then I had to strip her bed down to the mattress. AAAAHHHH!
Well, anyway I got it cleaned up & I can honestly tell you I never want to do that again as long as I live YUCK!!!!

Another day!

Hey guys haven't blogged in a few days, Miriam has been sick & I had to take off a couple of days to try to get her well. We have also having play practice this week, so I have been very busy.
Miriam is doing better today & her fever finally broke, she has had a fever since last Tuesday. The doctor gave her antibiotics so she is finally getting better!!!! I really am glad she is because I am suppose to take her & Mckayla to the Ice Palace at Opryland next Friday for Christmas, I have never been to see it I am very excited myself!!!!! Anyway I guess I am just rambling now so I am gonna go! C-ya

Friday

Today Miriam & I came to visit Papaw & Nana. We are doing Christmas with them this weekend, Miriam got a radio flyer wagon, tricycle, outfit, veggie tales Christmas movie, play food, books & a diaper bag for her baby! WOW!!! That's a lot of stuff. I got a sweater (one of those soft carpet kind, ooooohhhhh aaaaaahhhhh!) A very pretty blouse & a nice knife block set. Anyway I am trying out Nana's new computer its very nice flat screen & all that high tech stuff, I wish I had one this night!!!

On another note, I heard some sad news when I arrived here this evening.
I heard that one of my oldest friends who is suffering from an inoperable brain tumor had a cseaser tonight & had to be rushed to the hospital. I havent heard anymore news about him since, Please pray for him.

I love this book, I read it in school & then watched the movie when I was in Junior high. I had forgotten how good of a story it was until today when I noticed that the movie was on AMC; I of course watched it. I love Atticus Finch he was the type of lawyer that I think all lawyers should be like. I would have to say that my favorite character would have to be Boo Radley. He reminds me of Jesus in a way; in the movie everyone talks about him mainly bad things, and they were all afraid of him in some way. (If you know this story you probably know where I am going with this) In the end Boo Radley save the life of Scout, & shows that loving others even if they treat you poorly is the right thing to do (Just as Jesus teaches us, Love thy neighbor as thyself.) Think about it, would you do what Boo Radley did for your neighbor??


If you haven't read this book or seen the movie I highly recommend it.
It has valuable life lessons in it.

I want to be a Big Girl!!!!

Cute huh!! Miriam has decided that she wants to start trying to go potty! She hasn't really grasped the concept yet, and she still hasn't actually done anything more than sit on the potty, but at least she is showing interest.
I put her on the potty every night before her bath or when she asks. She is trying to grow up too fast!
I hate to buy diapers they are so expensive, but I also hate to think what it will mean when I don't have to buy them anymore.

Nothingness!

Hello fellow bloggers, I really don't have anything interesting to post so I figured I would just do a little babbling. Yesterday I went to Church & then went to Mario & Jackie's for Mckayla's
B-day party, It was your typical child's party, I also helped Jackie to get started on blogger as many of you have discovered by now. I still have to show her how to manipulate html so she can make her blog her own, but for now she knows the basics. Today has been a typical Monday, no real excitement! Miriam & I am going out of town this weekend to do the Christmas thing with Papaw & Nana Mary, that will be fun! Papaw live on a farm out in the middle of the country in a little town called Waynesboro, I love the counrty so I always enjoy going to visit. I have also confirmed with Papaw that he has the sacks we need for the play! Anyhow we have play practice tonight, I don't really have any parts to learn, I will be singing, but I am still slightly nervous, I have a small problem with stage fright or performance fright whatever you want to call it, and the song I am singing is a little out of my vocal range so I am having to manipulate a few of the notes to fit my octave range. For those of you who don't sing & have no idea what I just said, it was; The songs to high, have to sing it lower! Ok well I could continue to bore you guys, but I guess you have been punished enough (he he) Blog ya later!
