House On The Market!!!

We put our house on the market today!!! I am very excited & nervous! I have a lot of things to get done & I have to start packing some stuff AHHHHH! I thought that came later, but the realtor said start now & pack things that you don't need on a daily basis, so the house will look roomier. So let the fun (not) begin!

Trish, we are looking for a house that has a large fenced in yard w/ 3+ bedrooms 2+ bath & a bonus room or den so that I can have a room just for Daycare, a fourth bedroom would work too. Also need storage for lawnmower & things. Let me know what your company is offering!

Keep us in your prayers that God will lead us to the home he wants for us! God Bless

Over the River & through the Woods!

Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a good day. I am sooooooo ready to be off of work so that I can get on the road. Miriam & I are going to Papaws house this weekend. I love going down there, it is such a peaceful getaway, no stress!!!!!! I love the country anyway, & would love to live there, but there are no jobs down there, it is mainly older retired people & farmers. Anyhow we have a realtor coming to the house on Tuesday to talk about putting our house on the market, I am very excited about that! I cant wait to be able to move into a new bigger home. Don't get me wrong I love the house we live in now, I just don't like the neighborhood or the lack of space we have. Ok so I guess I need to go I have to mop & clean the bathroom before I leave town & the kids are napping so this is my best opportunity. Blog you guys later, have a great weekend!

I am so ready to move out of this house, but we still have some things to do to it before we can put it on the market. I have decided that after we get our tax return I am going to take a week vacation so I can begin to paint, (this is the main thing that has to be done) I usually only take one week per year vaca, but I decided that most people get two weeks per year so why shouldn't I. I mean what is the purpose of owning my own business if I cant ever take a break from it!!!!

Anyhow I have been looking on a realtor website at all the houses for sale right now & their are only a few in the price range we are willing to take, & none of them are what we really want. I would really like to just have one built, but Ryan doesn't like that idea. I cant really blame him because the house we were suppose to get before we bought this one we were having built, & the contractor was just lousy! He broke our contract so we just went for a house that was already to move in.

Anyhow there is one house on the street my mom lives on that may be hitting the market soon, I would really really like to take a look at it, but I fear it will sell before we are ready buy! Oh well. Ok so I really don't have much to say blogging seems to be my only communication with adults, & even that isn't one on one. That's terrible! I have no social life! My life consists of kids four & under, & a husband who sleeps while I am awake & leaves for work shortly after dinner. Not to mention he is an "Eeyore" which means of course he could care less about a social life! I don't get it, I was pretty popular in school had lots of friends, things to do every weekend, What happened??? Ok depressing reflection is over, I am over it now!

I am going out of town this weekend to papaw's house, I love the country & would really love to live there, but there are absolutely no jobs so that isn't going to happen.
Well, I guess I am out of things to talk about so; later!

"My Recipe" for Chicken Parmesan.

This recipe is my own, I didn't really care for the original Chicken Parm recipe, So I made a few changes.

First you will need skinless boneless chicken breast (defrosted or Fresh)

You need spaghetti sauce (your preference) I use garlic & Parmesan flavored.

Spaghetti noodles ( or what ever noodles you prefer)

Shredded Parmesan cheese.

Preheat oven between 350 to 400

lightly coat the bottom of your pan w/ a little bit of you spag sauce
lay your chicken in the pan & cover w/ your sauce (don't forget to cook your noodles)
cook (uncovered) for about 45 minutes to 1 hr (depending on the size & amount of your chicken)
After it is done sprinkle your shred parm cheese over the top & let melt.
Once cheese is melted remove from oven.
Place your noodles on a plate then put a piece of the chicken on top, then take some of the sauce from your pan & pour over top of that. WALA! Chicken Parmesan!
I serve garlic bread w/ mine.

Now for the original recipe; it is the same except that the chicken is breaded & fried instead of baked, & it calls for motzarella cheese instead of Parmesan which is very strange since it is called "Chicken Parmesan"

Any how I have cooked it both ways & Ryan & I both agree ( along with others who have had it both ways that my way is much tastier. But I want you guys to make it how you think you would like it best so good luck to you & Enjoy!

Isnt it Strange?!?

Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?

Isn't it strange how difficult it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages ofa popular novel?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?

Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events at the last minute?

Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange how webelieve everything that magazines and newspapers say, but question the words in theBible?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?

Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?

IT'S STRANGE ISN'T IT?

Ramblings!

I am soooo sleepy today, I don't know if it is because of the rain or just because I haven't been sleeping well lately. Anyhow I have been contiplating going to see a chiropractor because my neck & my shoulders have been hurting me bad lately (which is why I cant sleep well) I don't know about chiropractors even though my sister & my mom love going to theirs. I worked for one once & I just am not sure about them. If any one can recommend one let me know, like I said I am considering it.

On another note the Lord I think has been dealing with me about singing again, I don't mind it so much anymore, but I still have stage fright. I guess that is something you never truly get over.

Ok so enough rambling, I plan to post my recipe for Chicken Parmesan tomorrow, I hope the shells were good for anyone who attempted them.
As Trish would say TTFN!

Typical Friday.

Hey guys, I really don't have anything interesting to talk about today, but I decided I could ramble a little. So I have had a typical Friday morning for me, get up, get the kids up feed them breakfast watch some cartoons & play with the toys. I will be so glad when it warms up enough to start taking the kids outside, we are all getting cabin fever.

Anyway on another note I am going to get my hair trimmed today, it is so past time for that!

Pray for my Friend guys, (some of you know who I am talking about), she has really slipped back into the world big time, I am very worried about her & I feel totally helpless like I am just watching her drown & I keep trying to throw her a life line, but she just refuses to take it. AHHH!
Oh well, I cant save her, only God can & she has to want to be saved for that to happen. All I can do is Pray for her. Ok well I guess I better get back to work before the kids realize I am not in the same room with them & start tearing the house apart!!

So it finally snowed! If you can call it that, HA!
Anyway I remember a time when it snowed so much here that I would go sledding, I actually asked for a sled for Christmas one year.
Now that same sled is pretty much obsolete. Oh well.

Happy Birthday Adam!!!!!

This is a Birthday wish for my cousin Adam, who is in the marines.

Hope you are having a great birthday!
Be safe, God Bless, We love you!

LOL, HA HA HA, HE HE HE!!!!!

Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane but only a high school diploma to fix one. Reassurance for those of us who fly routinely in their jobs. After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet," which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers. By the way, Qantas is the only major airline that has never had an accident.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire. +++

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft. +++

P: Something loose in cockpit.
S: Something tightened in cockpit. +++

P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order. +++

P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground. +++

P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed. +++

P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level. +++

P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what they're for. +++

P: IFF inoperative.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode. +++

P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right. +++

P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search. +++

P: Aircraft handles funny.
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious. +++

P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics. +++

Need some Advice!

Ok so say your best friend of 17 yrs has not been wanting to hang out with you or talk on the phone or do any of the things that you have always done together, would you be hurt?

Well, this has been happening to me with my friend. She has basically blown me off, she only wants to come around & hang out, it seems like when she needs or wants something.
In the past couple of months she has only wanted to come & hang out when it was her weekend with her kids. On the weekends her ex has the kids she goes out & does whatever she wants & never asks me to go. I feel like the only time she wants to be my friend anymore is when she doesn't feel like watching her children alone.

So I tried this tactic to see if maybe she didn't realize what she was doing, Anytime I knew it was her weekend to have the kids & she would as if her & the kids could come hang out I would make sure I already had other plans & tell her I was busy. Well this is not working.

I am not sure if she realizes what she is doing or if she just doesn't care, either way She has asked if her & the kids could come over this evening & I agreed. I think I am going to confront her about it.

What do you guys think? What would you do? Am I just over reacting? HELP!

On the Verge!!!!!

Hey guys I have had a really rough day. I am sooooooooo tiered I cant even begin to explain. Miriam is cutting her 2 year molars & she has been up screaming in the middle of the night for the past two nights. I know that this must be awful on her, but I am the one who is sleep depravated!!!!! Anyhow I am also on the Verge of diet failure ahhhhhhhhh! I am so tired & my worst enemy right now other than the devil is the scale. I lost about 15 to 20 pounds before Christmas & I weighed myself the other day & I am still holding steady at that same weight.
This as any dieter knows is very discouraging. I am at a plateau & I have to figure out how get past it......

Not something I want to do. Ok so you guy pray for me that I will stay strong & not give up, I am at this very moment getting ready to get on my bike & petal for 30 minutes, which I have been trying to talk my self out of all day long! Lord willing I will have a better day tomorrow. Hope everyone else is doing better than I am today.
Later.

Missing you!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday & even though he has been dead since I was 7 we still celebrate his birthday, so Happy 51st Birthday Daddy!

Anyhow I went to church with my Mimi & Granny yesterday, & then went to their house to have lunch with the rest of the fam. This was the church that I was pretty much raised in. Anyway I really missed my Church, you never realize how much you depend on something until it is gone. I mean not to be mean, but being honest it was so cold & calice & boring, it was so uniform. I don't know if you get what I am trying to say, but I just didn't feel the love or the spirit of God at all. This church is one of the reasons it was so hard for me to come back to a church after I left home.

Ok so I just wanted you all to know that I really missed what we have at True Vine. I know that when I am there, I am where I belong! I love you guys!

Touched!

Hey guys, I had an experience that I just had to share with you all.

I have been reading the "Left Behind Series" for a few years, I have really enjoyed all the books, then I got to book 12 "The Glorious Appearing" & it has taken me longer to read this book than any of the others. I have no idea why, but I will read it for awhile then put it down & wont pick it back up for months at a time.
(this is not like me) Anyhow I recently decided I was going to finish this book no matter what. (I am only a few chapters from the end) I was reading it last night &
I just lost it, I started crying. I am at a part where Jesus has already come down from heaven & has defeated the devil; in the part where I began to cry Jesus is talking to the remnant (those who are children of God during this time) & Jesus is talking to them all at the same time, but to them it feels like He is only speaking to them personally or individually in their own language. He was telling them all that He loved them unconditionally, and they were worthy of His love.

I knew this was going to be hard to explain, but it just touched me so much to know that one day Jesus is going to be speaking to us & telling us those same very things!
I know that all Christians already know that Jesus loves us that much, but can you imagine actually hearing it come straight from the mouth of the Lord?
I am truly unworthy of this honor, but in Jesus's eyes I am worthy! AMEN!!!

I highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys reading, I know all the beliefs in this book are not the same as all Christians, but the message it gives is the same. Accept Jesus as your personal Savior, or be Left Behind.

The Mommy Test!

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.

"Why?" my daughter asked. "Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Mommy, how do you know all this stuff?" Uh," I was thinking quickly. "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy."

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. "OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy." "Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face.

HA! HA!

Love Yourself!

I watched this show today called "The Secret Lives of Women" it really bothered me. It was about three different women all with different eating disorders, and the thing that bothered me is I could relate to all their stories. I understood how they felt, & even though I don't suffer from a eating disorder I can see how it happens.
I know there are probably thousands of women who suffer from eating disorders I have an older sister & a cousin who both suffer with one.

I struggle with my weight everyday, I am constantly thinking about what I could do better or stop doing so that I could be thinner.
On this show they took a pole on the average women's idea of what size clothes women should be wearing to be considered thin & beautiful, the majority answer was between a Size 2 to a size 6.
Can you believe that!!!!!!!!! I haven't been a size 6 since I was 18 yrs old.
Then took a pole on what size the majority of average American women really are & guess what? 79% of American women are between a size 12 to 16.
so that means that society is telling the majority of women that we are fat & unattractive, & we are believing them, the pole proves it! No wonder women are starving themselves & having surgery all the time. How do you compete with the picture of the so called beautiful people in all the magazines.

Well, I have decided I am here to tell all women young & old, you are beautiful, you are beautiful because God created you. He made you special & unique.
I struggle with my own "I am Fat & Ugly" issues all the time, but I just have to tell myself what I know to be true, God loves me for who I am, he made me, I am beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside, and as far as society's opinion who cares what they think, the truth is no women looks as good as they portray them on the magazines that's all computer enhanced.

The trick is to love yourself, & your true beauty will shine through, true beauty can not be enhanced by a magazine because it comes from within!

Wrapping Paper

The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her 5 year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and said, "This is for you, Mamma." The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner. "Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?"
She had tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Mamma, it's not empty! I blew kisses into it until it was full." The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger .

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later, and it is told that the mother kept that gold box by her bed for all the years of her life. Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a Golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends & especially God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

2006'

Well, in about 10 minutes it will be 2006' I am home with my two year old daughter Miriam; who is asleep. I have the t.v. on waiting for the ball to drop! I wonder how many years I have watched the ball drop, hmmmmm?

Any how, New Year is suppose to be a time to start over or start fresh or make resolutions.
I how ever am going to tell what I am most thankful for in the year 2005'.
I am most thankful that God answered my prayers for a child.

In May of 2005' Ryan & I traveled to India to pick up our daughter Miriam.
That was my greatest moment of 2005'.

It is now 12:00 am Jan. 1, 2006 HAPPY NEW YEAR! & GOD BLESS!
